Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

The first step in article marketing is the submission process. Ezine publishers, article announcement lists and article directories are the most common places for submission. This will accomplish several things.

For starters, you will be considered as an expert in your field. This will establish a trust between you and the readers, as they will be able to value your opinions.

Submitting articles will also allow for greater publicity of your business. Submission requires a resource box to be attached to your article. This contains a link to your website that will be seen by the reader. If the reader wants to know more about what you do, they can simply click to see more.

Article marketing also allows for a non-reciprocal link to your website. This is important for your search engine page rank. Typically, more weight is given to non-reciprocal links in search engine page rankings.

So maybe this all sounds good to you, but you aren't comfortable writing your own articles. If you don't have the writing skills necessary, consider using private label articles. These are becoming more and more popular, and many of such services are available with new ones popping up all the time.

However, there are some specifications that need to be taken seriously. Otherwise the results produced may be problematic

The good thing about private label articles is that they may be able to offer the non-writer a high advantage over other markers. When used properly, they will likely increase your sales, traffic and opt in subscribers.

Be cautious of making the most common mistake known to private label articles: getting lazy. Put it in your mind from the start that copying and pasting the article for submission is a bad idea.

The majority of directory software will automatically do a search in their database to see if the title has been used before. If this is the case with an article that you submit, then yours will be rejected.

So, change the title at the very minimum. It's also recommended to change the wording in the first paragraph.

Another word of caution regards the number of links placed in your article. Many marketers will include so many links that the article just becomes an ad in a longer form. This will definitely get your rejected and maybe banned if it occurs too often.

The purpose of an article is to provide the reader with valuable and useful information. As long as your content is well written, the chances of the reader clicking on your link will increase.

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. Article marketing is your ticket to online success. Whether you are running your own ebusiness or engaged in affiliate marketing, this amazing product and website promotional tool can help you reach your goals. All you need to do is write and distribute quality articles that are targeted to the needs and demands of your potential clients and watch the traffic and online revenue going your way.

Here are the 3 latest secrets to multiply your article marketing:

1. Consider the publishing sites. As an article marketer, you will most likely to spend more time working with publishers in your attempt to convince them to publish your articles online. To minimize or eliminate the chances of your articles being rejected, I suggest that you read and understand the terms of service of each article submission site. Though most of them have different rules and regulations, there are universal guidelines that they would like you to follow and these are: Your articles must run at least 300 words, they must be free from blatant advertisements, inappropriate content, hyperlinks, and too much keywords. In addition, they must also be well-written and content-rich.

2. Write more. In article marketing, the more articles you write and submit, the more quality inbound links you will obtain for your website. Thus, it follows that if you would like to augment your traffic and improve your search engine ranking, you must be willing to multiply the number of your output.

3. Use striking headlines. Increase your clickthrough rate by using attention-grabbing titles that can easily pique the curiosity of online users. Keep your titles short but intriguing. Direct to the point yet compelling. It would also help to make them keyword-rich so your articles will fare well on relevant searches.

Article Marketing is a successful way to acquire traffic for your website. It has become more popular recently especially with the coined term Bum Marketing. There are differences to each technique, but basically they are both Article Marketing Techniques.

Article Marketing is easy to implement and can be very effective for acquiring free search engine traffic. For the record it is considered off page SEO.

Basically, you write a short 300 to 500 word article on a niche market keyword and add a keyword rich link in your bio box to the website you want to promote. You then submit the article to one of the many article directory sites and anywhere from 2 days to two weeks you should be listed in the search engines.

Repeat the above step a few times with different articles in the same niche as your website with another niche keyword linking back to your website and you will be listed very fast in the search engines.

Bum Marketing is a name that was coined in the last year. It is exactly the same as Article Marketing but with a slight twist.

You would write the same short 300 to 500 word article on a niche market keyword. But, this time you want to use what is called a long tail keyword.

This keyword is so exact in its phrasing that usually has very small amounts of searches done using it every month. And, the kicker is that it has very little and sometimes no competition for that keyword. This means that there is practically no website competing to use the keyword. If you are really lucky there is also little to no PPC programs using that keyword.

Long tail keywords are popular now because it is felt that anyone that does search for this type of keyword is a hungry buyer. It is reasoned that a searcher is looking for a precise item for example charcoal pre-filter for Honeywell Air Cleaner instead of using the general keyword, Air Cleaner. General keywords are considered hard to convert to sales. A searcher of a general keyword is a so called tire kicker who is shopping around but has not made up his mind to buy.

Finally, in the authors bio box of a Bum Marketing article you link directly to the affiliate program you want to promote instead of linking to your website. I think it is similar to the Google Cash promotion method used in promoting via Adwords.

In a nutshell these are the differences between Article Marketing and Bum Marketing. Both are very effective at becoming a successful Affiliate Marketer.

This is

Internet based businesses are in a race for domination with other vendors popping that will assist them for only a small fee.

With a steady flow of visitors and web traffic you may find yourself in a position where you don't have to pay. You can build yourself the foundation of a loyal list by allowing visitors to sign up or opt in and allow your list to grow from there.

Use an opt- in list to gain subscribers to your newsletters, your visitors know they will be receiving news and updates from you regarding your site and industry via email. Unfortunately that does not mean that your subscribers will read it.

Sometimes lists are made using other methods such as an attachment with a promotional offer or a free product. The subscribers are not really interested in receiving the emails as much as getting the promotion and often delete the email without even opening it or scanning it over.

There is a way to change this.

A lot of time and effort goes into creating a newsletter and you don't want it wasted. To get readers you need to create an interest for the reader. That interest needs to be strong enough to get the results you want. That is traffic to your website to purchase the products available there.

Creating an interest this strong requires writing on a subject of interest in a well thought out manner. You need to tempt the reader into visiting your site.

The one sure thing most people will see of an email is the subject line. Based on the subject line the subscriber will either decide to open the email or delete it. Because of this, the subject line has to be the most important part of any email sent to subscribers.

Make the subject line short with a concise point. The goal is to give the recipient a summary of the content and a reason to read. In needs to grab the reader's attention with a promise of more to come. That intrigue with the content is what will get them to open the email.

Subscribers do not automatically open every email, but a good subject line will generate enough emotion to make them curious enough to open it.

There are specific words that can help you to get the reaction you want to achieve. The recipient will typically only spend a second or two on your subject line, deciding to open it or not. You need to get their attention in that short time.

A few example of good attention grabbing words are "tips", "guide" and "how to". These are key phrases that will pique the reader's interest when paired with a subject the reader has interest in learning more about.

Another good method to create interest is by presenting a question that is easily affirmed by the reader. Questions such as "Are you tired of your job?" or "Are you getting paid less than you deserve?"

By tying questions such as this into the content of your website that your subscribers have already shown interest in by opting into your newsletter, you can't help but generate in urge for them to open it. The reader can't help but start to answer the question with their minds wondering.

Other subject lines that can grab attention announce benefits or time limits to reading the newsletter. Subjects such as "Excellent opportunity for those that act now." Or "Triple your earnings in one year." Or even "Breaking news."

Whatever subject line you decide upon, it needs to create excitement, urgency, intrigue or even lead the reader into reading further.

So many people look at article marketing as just a traffic source. And it is a traffic source. But it is so much more. You see, with most traffic sources, the impact of the traffic source ends once the traffic is delivered.

But with article marketing, the traffic source continues creating credibility long after the initial traffic is delivered.

In my case, with 1000's of live articles online, someone may join my list, and later decide they want more information about something online, then they go to read some of my other articles. The advantage to this is increased credibility, and that helps me generate more sales in the long run, as my subscribers continue to look to me for advice, knowing they can get it either directly from me or by reading more of my articles online.

This creates long term credibility online, which of course is what I am looking for.

Also, with article marketing, once I publish an article, I may get several visitors from that article the first month, much as any other traffic source would provide. But I will also get traffic the second month and the 3rd month and so on. I continue to get traffic from articles I submitted over a year ago - which means I am getting much more traffic than if I had paid for traffic one time up front.

These are just two of the reasons I favor article marketing over other traffic sources.

The bottom line is that article marketing is good for so much more than just traffic, but it helps me to build long term relationships online, hence increasing long term visitor value and profits.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

When you provide content that rocks the market, youre quite likely to get tagged and published. But seriously, how many ways can you say the same thing and be serious about a topic? Whenever I write a serious article, it gets picked up, because the content is, well serious.

But, when I write an article that gives serious information with a twist of humor, it seems my articles are more likely to be chosen and republished. The best part is, it gets published in its entirety, with all the links in tact, because people like to read fun information on their sites, in their newsletters and ezines, or even in their collections of information. Boring is just exactly that, boring.

If you havent figured it out, the objective of article marketing is to get our links out there so people will click on them, making our offsite SEO more effective.

1. Humor works.

While slapstick comedy most likely isnt a working part of article marketing, a random comment, one liner, or risqu barb works miracles. So long as they dont sound out of place, or stupid. Article Marketing probably wont take you to Number One in Vegas, but you might get just past dishwasher in Hollywood with a few good one liners.

2. Humble humility?

You could express yourself with humble humility, but when you get down there to the signature and you zap the reader with a load of self inflicted praise and admiration, they might not be willing to buy into your perspective. If you choose to go with humility, at least be consistent.

3. Brown nosing.

If youre thinking of kissing up to the big boys, spell their names right. Name dropping has some interesting effects in marketing, and sometimes its worth a bit of risk to get some attention. But consistently dropping names to get attention isnt a good way to get your name out there. To be honest, it sucks. (You wanna get a tissue and wipe off the chocolate?)

4. Bold intensity.

Occasionally, you lag behind because you lack confidence to get out there and promote your stuff. Article marketing is about self promotion. If you lack confidence, youll go nowhere fast. Sometimes you have to write the same kind of article forty times to get noticed, and that means sticking your neck out there, missing the hatchet and sticking it out again. The chicken with a head still on his neck at the end of the day wins. Missing feathers dont count!

5. Keyword sensitive.

After you write an article, go back and change all the it words to a keyword. If youre passive in the article, how will you ever sell your services and products? Go ahead, risk (it) article marketing, and put a keyword in place of the it. Make your article TALK in keywords, to the search engines, to the reader, to the marketer.

Reach out and grab your share of success, by knowing and sharing your expertise.
